Monster Fight
Write a story from the horrible monster’s point of view, as the hero comes to vanquish it.
Prophecy Obfuscation
Write a prophecy that,when fulfilled will change the stories’ world, then rewrite it so that only after the prophecy comes true is it possible to understand.
Pic of Interest
Find a picture of a person, that somehow intrigues you. Now write a story about that person in the picture.
Bluff It
Write a story about a situation, group, activity, or place you know nothing about.
One rule, no research. You must make up all you know about this situation, group, activity, or place.
When you are done research the situation, group, activity, or place and then ask yourself these questions:
- Were you right about what goes on?
- Is this something you could bluff your way through?
- or is this something you really need research?
- How do you know a subject you need to research?
Day in Your Life
Write a story about your life. It can be one day it can be a few scenes, it can be your most stressful day or it can be your most relaxed, but remember to make it interesting enough that others will want to read it.
Jump In Reason
Write a story in which something disastrous happens to main character only to wake up years after a separate, and different, disastrous event happened that they do not remember happening.
Note: no time for the world happens between first event and the waking up to discover results of second (earlier) event.
Example: gets shot in leg wakes up to a missing arm that was taken off 3 years ago in accident on the farm.
Egypt Today
Write a story in which ancient Egypt did not fall, and became the predominant culture across the world.

Write on one of your stories today, if no stories search the archive for another prompt.
Rewrite Experment
Take an existing story and choose 1 to 5 scenes from it and rewrite the scene from another point of view. if you used first person use third, try using second person…
